| Invitation April 11-13, 2012 updated 2/1/2011 Competition day April 13, 2012 There will be 2 training days available 11,12 YES, Synchro Skiing is still alive and well in Aspen “Come and Challenge the Divas” The women of Aspen Team Diva are very excited to act as hosts again for the 11th Annual Aspen Synchro Championships. All disciplines are welcome: Skiing/Snowboarding/Telemark/Adaptive/Kids. Women's, Men's, & Mixed teams The former “Battle of the Ski Schools” competition from Vail and Whistler has still been continuing in Aspen. The Women of Aspen Team Diva have been hosting the Aspen World Synchro Championships since 2003. We hosted a National event in 2000 prior to the Battle of the Ski Schools in Vail. The Big Change since 2010 is that we are inviting both 6 and 8 person teams in an attempt to increase team attendance. Skiing/Snowboarding as a Team Sport Synchronized skiing/snowboarding offers pros a fantastic social and technical opportunity to make it a team event. Teams are comprised of eight or six members, as well as one alternate, who work together to create exciting ever-changing formations with technical precision and skill. We look forward to welcoming new and returning teams, National and International. The format will be 4 passes in total, one will be the mandatory school figure along with three free passes. Two practice days and a competition day - April TBA, 2012 We are accepting 6 person and 8 person teams since 2010 The entry fee includes team credentials for 3 days of lift access for 9 team members and 2 coaches for 8 person teams and 7 team members and 2 coaches for 6 person teams. 8 person team Registration Fee is US$ 1000 6 person team Registration fee is US$750 Important Entry Fee notice!! NO registration entries will be accepted past March 15, 2012 Entry fee is DUE on Feb 15th, 2012 plus $100 if Received by March 1st, 2012 plus $200 if Received by March 15th, 2012 plus $500 if Received by March 31st, 2012 We look forward to hearing of your interest and any inquiries you may have.
